Definition:
Binary means "two," or "base two." The binary system is a way of counting using just the two numbers 0 and 1.

Explanation:
Computers use the binary system to work with data. All data in the computer is stored in binary code as 1's and 0's (bits). For example, the letter "A" is stored as 01000001.

"The decimal number 186 is the binary number 10111010."
